“Bloom”
Collection is inspired by the celebration of Ivan Kupala. On the night of Ivan Kupala, a huge bonfire was lit. According to tradition, all the women in the village were obliged to come to the Kupala bonfire, and those who did not could be accused of witchcraft and connection with evil spirits. Ashes and coal from bonfires were attributed a special healing power, remnants from the Kupala bonfire were spread over flower beds, gardens and fields for a better harvest. Cattle were driven through the fire so that they would give more milk, and coal was carried home and thrown into the furnace for prosperity and protection from all evil. The decor on the sleeves is natural ostrich feathers. It is sewn by hand around the sleeve. 2.5 meters of feathers are used for decoration, and it takes about 3 hours to sew it.
